Before COVID, I stayed here and really liked the rooms, the food, and the staff. Service was prompt and thorough. I’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it.

A beautiful place.

The biggest letdown for us was breakfast. We were there for five days, and the selection barely changed. As a family that doesn’t eat meat, the adults ended up having low-quality eggs and vegetables each day. The children don’t eat eggs, so they had almost nothing to choose from: pancakes every other day, cereal on the others. The cakes were dry and seemed store-bought. I’ve never had such a poor hotel breakfast. I’d expected regional food in Zakopane, perhaps a good selection of cheeses, but there was none. I wondered if I was the only one unhappy, though I noticed a teenager complaining about the lack of choice too. Since we were at the hotel in the morning and came back in the evening, this really spoiled our impression. I hope the owner reads this and improves the quality and variety of the food. We booked Pan Tadeusz for five days because thermal baths were included in the price, we needed breakfast for the children, and there was access to a pool, sauna, and jacuzzi at nearby Dolina Białego. The staff were welcoming, and Ms. Lucyna at reception was a wonderful hostess. The hotel is in a peaceful, scenic mountain setting, with a nearby river that was soothing at night. It’s a 15-minute walk to the center, and a trail to Dolina Stawów starts right by the hotel, though we didn’t make it all the way. At Dolina Białego, just a few steps away, the pool was very clean and well maintained, and there was also a sauna and jacuzzi. The rooms were nothing special, but we were mostly out and only returned in the evenings. We did miss having a hairdryer, especially with children using the pools and thermal baths and with rainy weather.
