The beds aren’t big enough for anyone over 165 cm, and they’re not very comfortable. Most of the furnishings are worn out or nearly broken, and using things was a hassle. There’s one fairly large combined living and dining room, but the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. There’s no way to sit comfortably on a couch and watch a movie on cold winter nights, and the cheap, small JVC TV doesn’t add much to an almost 30000 Sloty stay for 10 nights. The internet is garbage. At 15 Mbits, you can barely watch a movie. The Wi-Fi also bricked the network card on my Nintendo Switch, and I couldn’t access Reddit sites. Maybe it’s a bad NAT or just very dodgy Wi-Fi, either way I won’t use it again. The place costs a lot, but other houses offer far more furnishings for much less. The house practically forces you outside because it gets unbearable after a while, and all the good ski trails are too far to walk to, so you need at least a taxi. I wouldn’t stay again.

The decor gives this pretty nice cottage its own character, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into it. The location is convenient, too. Krupówki Street is a bit of a walk, but the route isn’t difficult. The layout works for around 12 people, with two bathrooms, each having two showers and two sinks. Cleanliness could be better, especially in the kitchen and dining room. It looks okay at first glance, but the appliances are worn, glasses and mugs are chipped, and there isn’t enough tableware for 10 people, let alone the planned 18. The knives are dull and the cutlery is worn. We were told we could check in at 3:00 PM, but the cottage wasn’t ready, so we waited about an hour in the freezing cold. The main door handle was broken throughout our stay and wasn’t repaired as promised on the second day. I’d recommend it for groups of up to 12.

The spot feels secluded, though Krupówki Street is close enough to walk to. The rooms are pretty good and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is only average in how it’s equipped, but it does the job. The fireplace is a mess, though. It wobbles, and the wood we were given was mostly furniture plywood. You’d be better off making sausages on a stick.

Our group of 13, six adults and seven children, fit easily, and we didn’t even use one of the bedrooms. It’s a great place to stay in Zakopane with friends. The neighborhood is lovely, close to Krupówki Street on one side but quiet and peaceful on the other. I definitely recommend it! ❤️
