Stara Chata

The owners were kind and helpful from the moment we arrived, and we felt right at home. Stara Chata has a charming highland character and a friendly atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the property was well maintained and attractive. It's well placed for getting to Zakopane's attractions, while still offering peace and quiet. We have lovely memories of our stay and would happily return on our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay in a cozy cottage with a real highland feel. The wooden interiors were beautiful, and everything was clean, warm, comfortable, and very welcoming. It's a great place to rest, with everything nearby. The hosts were very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend it and would gladly come back! ❤️

We were 12 people, and this cottage worked really well for us. It's close to the city center, clean, and has a great kitchen with all the equipment we needed. Parking was ideal for three cars. The espresso machine makes great coffee too. Highly recommended. 😅✌️

The only small drawback was the tiny upstairs bathroom, though I understand that's down to the cottage layout. The place was clean and tidy, with towels and blankets, and the rooms could be heated. The kitchen was well stocked with an electric grill, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, plenty of dish soap, plates, cutlery, pots, pans, and paper towels. We were pleasantly surprised to find a coffee maker, plus coffee, tea, and sugar. There's a large table in the kitchen, and both the kitchen and living room are spacious, so I think the cottage is great for 10 people. The location is a big plus, five minutes on foot from the train station, with a Żaba supermarket, a Netto supermarket, and a bakery nearby.
