I’ve stayed at Willa Żbikówka for years, and it feels like my home in Zakopane. It’s always clean, cozy, and has such a lovely atmosphere. The owners are welcoming and kind, and you’re close to everything while still having a peaceful spot. I can’t picture staying anywhere else when I come to Zakopane.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the place itself was comfortable and quiet. It took about 20 minutes to walk to the center, and the view from our warm, comfortable room was amazing. There’s a well-equipped kitchen where you can easily make anything from a small meal to a bigger one, which helps keep trip costs down. The shared sitting room also has a kitchen, a large LCD, a sofa, a dining table, and a fireplace. We stayed for a long weekend in Zakopane and found it a beautiful place to stay. I’d recommend it if you want somewhere comfortable and calm.

I booked a room after seeing it listed on the website and Airbnb. After an email asking me to pay, I then got a cancellation message. The owner explained that during summer they don’t rent for weekends only. I understand everyone wants to earn money, but the website shouldn’t offer a weekend stay if that isn’t available.

The rooms are clean and nicely decorated in a traditional style. The host, though, had trouble communicating and interacting with guests, and that was below what I expected.
