The resort is clean, the food is nice, and the accommodations are good. There’s a lot to like, but the number of school groups really got in the way of enjoying the place. Yesterday I counted 10 coaches unloading children in the car park. During the outdoor movie, kids kept shouting and jumping in front of the screen, and at breakfast they crowded around the apple juice so badly that I had to queue just to get a small glass. There should be separate food times or an area for the groups, and someone supervising during movies. The badminton court also needs better lighting after dark, like the football and volleyball area has, though that’s a smaller issue for me. The resort needs to limit how many schools and large groups can visit at once.

There’s plenty to do here, which is what makes you want to stay. The place is clean and well organised. The accommodation rooms are very noisy, though. A school trip was staying here during my visit, and the noise was really loud.

The Wild West atmosphere was really nice, and almost all the signs were in English. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Thanks for the hospitality, I’ll definitely come back in the future.

There was lots to do, including a fun swimming pool and an outdoor cinema, and I stayed in a very clean wagon with the showers and toilet nearby. A few times there was no toilet paper, though. The big group of children were rude and very noisy, which spoiled the stay for me. I won’t stay there again.

We stayed in a houseboat and really liked how comfortable it was and how well equipped it was. The covered seating area faced the lake and had privacy screens. The camp itself was spotless, with good food and facilities, two pools, a couple of playgrounds, BBQ fire pits, a beach football pitch and an outdoor cinema. We ate at the restaurant and also had food delivered to the boat. It was delicious and very inexpensive. Energylandia is about a 15-minute walk away, and there’s a land train at the start and end of the day if you’d rather not walk. We’ll definitely be back. If you’re visiting Energylandia for a few days, this is a great place to stay.
