Dom na Mosornym Groniu

The meal took an hour to arrive even though the dining room was empty, and most of the food was really disappointing. The pierogi were awful: I ordered the strawberry ones, and only one had a whole strawberry in it. The dough was raw. The rice in another dish was overcooked, and the coconut-breaded chicken had been coated in flour. If the plate doesn’t match the menu description, they should change the menu. The lemonade was sparkling water with a few lemon and orange slices, for 15 PLN. Ice cream for a child cost 19 PLN, though the menu listed one scoop at 10 PLN, and it came with a few apricot slices and whipped cream. The salad served with the spinach and tomato dishes was the only tasty thing. I understand a business has to make a living, but after eating there, I wasn’t surprised the place was empty.

The views are stunning, and the location is excellent. My room was small but fine for me, clean, warm, and pleasant, with fresh linens. I came off-season, so it was very quiet. There’s a large dining room downstairs. In summer I’d jump in the pool, and in the evening, the warm hot tub sounds lovely. It took me 30 minutes to walk to the observation tower, and the ski slope is only 3 minutes away for a winter visit. I recommend it.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. There are trails and routes nearby, and the cable car is right next door. I’d give the place 10 stars just for its location and views! You can have coffee on the terraces or balconies, and there’s an outdoor hot tub and a sheltered spot for evening barbecues.

We had a really good stay in September. It’s a relaxed place for family or friends, with lots of room and play areas for kids. There’s a pool, jacuzzi, and fireplace too, and the breakfasts and dinners were delicious.
