Arecibo Inn

The rooms were extremely clean, but there was barely a blanket, and no one brought one after I asked at the front desk. The walls were so thin we could hear the neighbor snoring as if they were right beside us. Everything else felt very outdated. Prices around the area were about the same, so we gave Arecibo Inn a try on our trip west. It's okay for a night, but not somewhere to relax and enjoy yourself.

Breakfast service was horrible, and I honestly wouldn't come back. Staff were absent for ten minutes while breakfast was underway. When the server returned, she said breakfast ended in fifteen minutes and fries would take twenty, then told me I shouldn't have to wait that long to eat, so she wouldn't make them. I said I didn't mind waiting. She offered extra eggs or ham instead, and this was what my American breakfast looked like.

The staff were accommodating and moved us to a more convenient room at no extra cost. The rooms were very clean, and it was a great hotel for the price.

We only needed somewhere for the night, and this worked out well. It's plain and there are lots of stairs, but it's very clean. There's a kids' pool, a beauty salon, and breakfast.
