Isla Verde Beach Studio Ocean Ft Parking

We enjoyed this stay more than a hotel. Our Virbo was cute, clean, and functional, and the host answered our WiFi questions promptly, though the first information they gave us was wrong. The location is convenient, with a 24hr grocery across the street in case you forgot something. Don’t expect a resort. This IS the most run-down building on Isla Verde, but everything works. A few things to know: the key lockboxes are cumbersome, and the front gate button is on the keys. You need to be very close to the gate for them to work. Traffic isn’t pleasant, so get used to forcing the right of way. The beach access is very nice and pretty. There’s no working bathroom on the ground floor, so you have to go back to your room if you need the facilities.

Save your money, don’t stay here! They cancelled my booking when I arrived, without any notice. If you’re visiting San Juan for the first time, I strongly suggest booking ahead in either Condado or old San Juan.

The outside looks terrible and poorly maintained, and the inside hallways are kind of depressing, though they work. The elevators creak. If you have to stay here, it’s okay, but sadly this is one of the most run-down buildings in Isla Verde.

The condo is being renovated right now, so thanks for your patience. It should look amazing when the work is done. The location is great: oceanfront, with direct beach access through a gate and free parking. There’s a 24 hours Supermarket across the street, plus restaurants, Walgreens, a bank, rental cars, and more nearby.
