We’ve stayed at LoveSoulBeautiful on five different trips now, since my husband and I like to experience a place more like locals. It’s right in the city center, with a lively mix of Caribbean island life and New York hustle. The beach is three minutes away, and there are bars, karaoke, food trucks, coffee, brunch, and plenty more nearby. It suits singles and families. We’ve stayed with our daughter at four months, eight months, and again when she was three. The units are cozy, and my favorite morning spot is among the hammocks and plants with coffee. Molly and Pedro are the best hosts, and all the personal extras make it easy to pack light: luxury bath products, local PR coffee, daily herbal tea, beach toys and gear, robes, and a packnplay. It’s a real Puerto Rican experience, and so affordable that our family can visit PR often.

Our neighbors were lovely and we felt safe in the area. We had a problem with bugs, but the owner sent someone to deal with it while we were out for the day. The service was great and she responded quickly, making sure we had a good stay. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach and local life, a ten-minute drive to El Yunque, and about an hour from San Juan. We stayed with friends to celebrate finishing undergrad and had a great time. For a group, I’d recommend it. Bring earplugs, since locals like to party. There was no microwave and not many hand towels. Still, it was the best vacation I’ve had, and I’d recommend the place to future visitors.

Molly is attentive and really helpful. I’ve stayed at LoveSoulBeautiful twice and would definitely book again next time I’m in Luquillo. It feels like an authentic experience, especially if you want to be near the city center, the beach, and places to go out in the evening.

The four of us, three adults and one child, had enough room. Check-in and checkout were simple with a lockbox for the key, and the house was easy to find, near the beach, restaurants, and places to get drinks. The air conditioning worked very well. The noise was the biggest problem. A bar behind the house played loud music and partied almost every night until around 3 a.m. Even with earplugs, it was impossible to block out. The windows wouldn’t close all the way and had no screens, so outside plants and insects, including roaches, got in. My daughter and granddaughter slept poorly because she was scared of the roaches. The place also needs more upkeep and updates, and there was only one toilet paper roll, so we had to buy more. I don’t think we’d stay here again, even if it gets updated, because of the late-night noise, including on school nights.
