Selva Boutique Hotel - Luquillo Oceanfront Retreat - Adults only

We stayed two nights at Selva Boutique Hotel after getting back from a cruise. The location is gorgeous, right by the ocean, and we felt safe walking down to the beach at night. It's an easy walk. Jose was especially friendly, and we had a really relaxing visit. The rooms are quaint, the lobby has a water and microwave station, and there's an unbeatable pool and oceanfront. Wi-Fi was strong and very fast in our room. Coffee is served out back in the morning, where you can watch and listen to the waves. The one letdown was the bed. It made us miss our own at home.

I booked at the last minute and had a great time here. It's a cute little spot beside the water, with a clean, fairly spacious room. My room didn't face the ocean directly, but the side balcony still gave me a view of the waves. The bartender was great, and I enjoyed chatting with her and the other guests at the Oceanside bar. The pool looked amazing too. I'd happily stay again.

The pool is open all night, so I enjoyed swimming and having drinks there. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a cute balcony, and the ocean breeze and sound were lovely through the night. The service was kind, and the pool towels they gave us smelled fresh and clean. We thought the bar would be open Saturday night, but it wasn't, so we went out for drinks. Kiosks and other places to party are very close. It was nice to take a quiet little break from the rest of the crowd. I really liked the place and will be back.

The pool stays open 24 hours, which worked well since we spent most of the day exploring. From the bar patio you can look out at the water crashing over the rocks below. The location is great, just a short walk from Luquillo Kioskos and beaches. The staff were friendly and communicative, checking whether we needed fresh towels, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Such a beautiful hotel, highly recommend it.
