The service was first class, and I was lucky enough to catch the pan-seared snapper special. It came on a bed of the recommended Puerto Rican root mash and was probably the best fish meal I’ve ever had, even though I’ve travelled extensively. We’re staying across the street from Tamboo, and went there for dinner our first night. A++++!!!

The beach was lovely and had big waves, so we got to watch some surfing. We loved this side of the island and will definitely stay here again. The hotel and restaurant are right on the beach, which made getting there easy, and the area felt somewhat remote even though town is only a few minutes away. We arrived after the office had closed, but they contacted us ahead of time to make sure we’d be taken care of. They shared recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities, and even hosted a yoga class Friday morning. We absolutely loved our stay.

The view is hard to beat, right there on the ocean, and the service is both welcoming and efficient. We’ve been coming to Tamboo almost since it first opened, and the food has gone from excellent to outstanding. We’ve tried nearly everything on the menu. I especially recommend the fish and seafood, though the burgers are excellent too.

We only stopped in for lunch. A friend had recommended a few delicious dishes, but unfortunately they were out of some of them. Still, it’s a great place to eat by the sea, and the service was great.

They always remember you and seem to be in a great mood, which makes Tamboo such an enjoyable place. The service is amazing, and the people in hospitality here are wonderful. I keep coming back. Thanks for all the great service.
