Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort

We’ve hosted three corporate trips at Wyndham Grand Rio Mar, with over 200 employees each time, and our team begs to come back every year. Organizing a group that size can be complicated, but the event coordination, meals, spaces, and logistics all run smoothly here. The staff makes guests feel welcome and well cared for, and the service, food, and hospitality have been outstanding each visit. The facilities feel luxurious, from the beach and pools to the restaurants and the rest of the property, and the food is excellent. It would be a great getaway for couples or families as well as a large group event. Charlotte DeJesus has been fantastic to work with. She communicates well, responds quickly, and puts real care into getting every detail right, which has made planning easier each year. We’re looking forward to the next trip and highly recommend Wyndham Grand Rio Mar for a group gathering or vacation.

Everything went smoothly during our stay, and the staff were friendly. The grounds were lovely, the pools were great, and everything was clean and well cared for. The place feels upscale and five-star, but not pretentious. We had a great time, couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful family stay at Wyndham Grand Rio Mar. The room was comfortable and well maintained, and staff were helpful whenever we needed anything. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and family-friendly. We especially enjoyed the fantastic pool, excellent room service, and delicious piña coladas. We often went off the resort for breakfast and other meals because on-site dining felt quite expensive compared with nearby restaurants. More activities for children beyond the pool would be nice too, maybe a play area or family activity room. We had a great experience overall and would consider coming back.

The pools were a highlight, especially the well set up kids pool, where our toddlers loved spending time. The beach was beautiful, and the atmosphere felt great for families. The property was also beautifully organized, clean, and well maintained. Service was a bit slow on our first night and day, though later requests were taken care of quickly. We were disappointed by the water bottle limit with two toddlers in the heat, but the manager understood and accommodated us. We really enjoyed the stay and made wonderful family memories.
