Coral Princess Hotel

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel was a big letdown. It looked much more run down than the pictures, and our room had a strange smell, probably from humidity. There wasn't a closet, and I spotted a cockroach in the bathroom and reported it. They were supposed to take care of it. For what it costs, I don't think it's worth it. I'd pay more for a nice hotel or put the money toward a nice apartment.

They were very helpful with information about the area, and even gave us beach towels after checkout and held our bags for the rest of the day. The place was clean and the staff really nice. We'll be back!

There's a small pool and a few restaurants nearby, and the room was spotless. I'd stay again. Just be aware there's a fee for early check-in and barely any parking.

The location made it easy to get to the Marriott casino, La Placita, and the beach, and the greenery in the courtyard gave the place a tropical feel. I especially enjoyed the piano room and the pool table area on the third floor. The rooms and common areas were nicely decorated, and the hotel had a pool. My room had a marble bathroom with Dead Sea soap and shampoo dispensers that smelled amazing, a comfortable king bed and pillows, working A/C, a little desk for getting work done, plus a closet and ironing board. Staff were informative and helpful with local activities and food suggestions. For the price, it felt more like a 4-5 star hotel than a 2-3 star one. I had a great time and will return.
