The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and the rooms were great, with four bunk beds and either a queen or king bed. The AC was cold. There was no hot water, unfortunately, but that didn't take away from our stay. Pretty much everything in San Juan is within walking distance. I'd recommend this place to anyone headed there.

For the price, it was better than I expected, even though it wasn't too fancy. The staff were great, and they kept fresh coffee and the communal kitchen well stocked. I stayed here a couple of years ago.
