Lejos Eco Retreat

Breakfast is included with the stay, and the small plates at Melao Social Club are available some evenings. Both were truly wonderful, creative, upscale, and delicious. Patricia and Phil are welcoming and helpful, and it’s clear they put a lot of work into making guests’ stays great while keeping things easy and fun. We can’t imagine a more beautiful, peaceful place than Lejos, which is why this was our third visit. It’s tucked away on a hill that seems to appear as you arrive and climb the steps to the main area. Vieques has many stunning places, but this one was the biggest surprise for us. The whole experience is a winner.

Patricia & phill were so kind and welcoming, and they make this place worth every dollar. I spent three nights at this beautiful retreat, which felt like heaven. It’s high up on one of the tallest mountains in Viequs, so it’s better to rent a jeep. If you want somewhere quiet and beautiful, this is the place. WOW!

The balcony is a lovely place to have a drink at sunset. You can bring your own if the bar is closed. Patricia and Phil are kind and helpful, and the eco-containers make for a fun, unusual stay. Such a beautiful property and a lovely escape.

The birds singing in the morning were so peaceful, and seeing the Jacaranda tree every day made me smile. We spent five nights on Vieques, and staying at Lejos Eco Retreat was the highlight of the trip. The containers were cozy, the bed and bedding comfortable, the views beautiful, and the pool refreshing. I also loved relaxing in the hammock. The owners were always friendly and helpful. If we return to Vieques, we’ll definitely stay here again.
