Coffee was easily the best we found on the island, and it was a great way to start each morning. We also loved the outdoor spaces, from morning coffee to watching the sunset in the evening. Those were the sort of moments that make a vacation, or Mission Trip, special. The location made things easy, with the beach, Esperanza restaurants, and activities all within an easy walk. Todd and Amanda were thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind hosts who made us feel comfortable and cared for right away. The staff shared that same warmth and helpfulness. The guesthouse is simple, spotless, and nicely appointed without feeling pretentious. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the amenities available to guests made our stay relaxed and easy. Our stay exceeded expectations, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Room 3 had a nice view, and the location was quiet while still within walking distance of bars and restaurants. It was a little small for three, but we weren’t there to spend time in the room, so it worked out. Amanda was an awesome, very friendly host with lots of good recommendations. Breakfast was very good, and there are beach chairs and coolers for rent, plus cooler packs if you need them. I’d stay again.

Amanda, the owner, was really nice and helpful. She gave us lots of great suggestions and was often in the lobby when we needed advice. The rooms were cozy and clean, and we liked hanging out in the shared hammock space. The location is great, within walking distance of food and the ocean, with plenty of parking. The hotel itself is quiet, but bring earplugs for Vieques’s relentless roosters.

Our room was clean and comfortable, with a relaxing ocean view from the second floor. The guesthouse also rents beach chairs and coolers, which came in handy for our all-day outings. Amanda and Todd generously shared their knowledge of the island and good places to visit. They offer a convenient breakfast if Kristy’s on the Malecon is closed. You can walk to Main Street and quite a few beaches if you choose not to rent a car, though we’d highly recommend getting one.

Amanda was so hospitable and gave us great recommendations. You can tell she and her husband take real pride in the property. The Vieques Guest house was outstanding: super clean, very safe, and in an amazing location. I’d recommend it for solo travelers, couples, or families.
