We felt lucky to find this place. The location was great, the sheets were clean, and there was plenty of room, even if the place looked a bit worn. For NIS 300 a night, it deserves more business. The owner was incredibly helpful when our party of four arrived late.

The location was good, but the room was mediocre and didn’t even have basics like soap. We’d paid the agreed rate the night before, yet when we were leaving the owner demanded more money and wouldn’t let us go. After more than an hour of arguing, it really wasn’t worth it.

The room was cold and dirty. The only thing going for it was the location, and Bethlehem is small enough that this isn’t much of a selling point. The owner seemed nice at first, but then tried to charge us more than agreed, saying we had to pay extra tax, which wasn’t true.

There were bugs in the room, and the water was cold. There wasn’t a hairdryer, so the owner first offered to sell us one for 30 shekels. We said no, and he came down to 15, then negotiated to 10.

Simple accommodation, right in the city center, with the bus station just around the corner and Wi-Fi that was easy to use. The hotel manager was great and really willing to help. If you’re not after luxury, I’d recommend it. I definitely want to return to Bethlehem, and I’ll stay here again.
