There are several beaches nearby with all the usual amenities, and Aldi is within 2 km. Apolonia Supermarket is there too. Great place for families, with nine restaurants within walking distance. A hidden gem.

The sea views are beautiful, and the condo is close to the beaches in a stylish building with a lovely pool. There’s a shop five minutes away, and it’s a handy base for getting around the Algarve. Silves is 25 minutes away, as are Carvoeiro and Armação de Pêra. Would definitely recommend.

If you’re after peace and quiet, this could suit you. It’s a lovely residential area with beautiful beaches, but there are very few pubs or restaurants and only one or two tourist shops selling souvenirs or lilos. I wouldn’t call it a holiday resort.
