The room up on the roof was our pick, and I thought it was the coolest one. There’s plenty of space, a comfy couch and beds, and a clean shower. The shared kitchen was cute and spotless, too. Our hostess was such a sweetheart, welcoming and really good at English. The walk to the Ship Station is a little steep but manageable, and the ride from there is only 1.50 Euros. It’s not right by the old town, which was the only drawback. I just wish we’d stayed longer. We had a GREAT time and would absolutely come back.

Almada Villa is a good base for getting to know Almada proper, though reaching the Lisbon ferry takes a hike if that’s part of your plan. I stayed one night and was struck by the room’s size and quality: modern and stylish, with a huge ground-floor bedroom, bathroom, and sitting room. The owner also managed to help with a special need, which I really appreciated.

The reception felt really warm, and the place is so lovely. The rooms are roomy, with high ceilings and current, stylish amenities. The beds and pillows were clean. The bedroom doesn’t have much furniture, but it’s clean and very dry smart. I slept soundly and will definitely be back soon.

The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable, which can be hit or miss in hotels and b&b's. I enjoyed staying here. Such a lovely hotel, with gorgeous styling, and everything was clean, tidy, and looked after. I’d definitely recommend it.

The kitchen and coffee were my favorite parts, and the reception was kind. The hotel has a nice mix of old and modern, with a renovated historic feel, big rooms, high ceilings, and a modern bathroom. It’s up at the top of town, so don’t walk there, take a cab or bus.
