Thanks to Danny for a wonderful stay. The breakfast was very good, and I'd strongly recommend this place. The sandy beach is really close, which means safe surfing, important for me. You can rent surfboards, wetsuits, and bicycles from Wavespot surfhouse, and everything was in really good shape. They can also book lessons for you.

The place was horrible. It was tiny, with hardly enough space for our things or to move around, and it was filthy. Staff were no help at all. Breakfast was extremely meager and ALWAYS came more than half an hour late. The strangest thing was coming back early from the beach one day and finding the cleaning employee smoking marijuana and listening to music with his friends in the common areas.

Ricardo welcomed us warmly at 10 pm for our 8 pm layover at Lisbon Airport. This is a hostel, so you share everything but your room, and sometimes even the room itself depending on which package you pick. The location is fabulous, tucked in a small alley just 200 meters from the beach. Banks, bakeries, and restaurants are all within a five-minute walk. The big converted house has a lovely shared living room, terraces, and kitchen. An Uber from the airport costs less than 20 euros.
