There's lots of room here, so even when it's busy you can find a spot for your tent with a little privacy. Cars and motorcycles can stay with the tents. The staff are really nice and helpful, from reception to the cafe and supermarket, and the shop is thoughtfully stocked for the location. The bathrooms are older, but always clean and warm, with toilet paper available. You can borrow grills, and there's warm water for washing dishes. The water is only 50 metres away. It's not the best beach, but it's good enough for a swim. The ground is quite hard, so bring a hammer. A really good campsite.

A quiet place to park in nature, with plenty of space and lovely views. You can choose your own spot, with at least 10 metres between them. In the off season, only two bathrooms were open. They're a little dated, but clean and warm.

I come back every year, and this is still my favourite campsite in Portugal. It's peaceful, with plenty of wildlife to watch, and the facilities are always clean and nice. The 10-metre spacing between tents and vans is respected, and the prices feel very fair. Just be ready for the weather. During one stay I had temperatures in the 40s, and with no fan or AC in my van I was sweating 24/7. The lagoon was my only way to cool down, though there are some water activities too. It's an awesome place that never disappoints!

The views are amazing, and the lake is beautiful for swimming. The showers and toilets were cleaned well, and the showers were hot with good pressure. But the photos showing a swimming pool should be removed as soon as possible, since that pool isn't at this campsite. We were very disappointed. The mini market is only open from 9-10 a.m. and 6-7 p.m., so we didn't get a chance to go in. The cafe bar is open only from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We went to the closest restaurant down the road for food, but I wouldn't recommend it. Our night cost almost €30 for two people, one tent, and one car, which felt a bit expensive for a place in the middle of nowhere.
