The grounds at Casa do Lago are spacious, with the big, beautiful, famous lake where two lovely swans live alongside ducks and chickens. The pool is 25m, and there's a large grassy area around it for all sorts of activities. We even played snooker. Conditions are good, and the breakfast was excellent and varied, with eggs, cake, and lots of homemade preserves. The lemon one was my favorite! Beatriz and her husband Mário were so kind and attentive to each guest, always ready to help. They encouraged guests to spend time together and gave us good suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. We'd love to come back. Thank you for everything, Família Gonçalves!

The guest room was very pleasant, with homemade breakfast using fresh ingredients. There's so much to enjoy around the house, including a swimming pool, barbecue, outdoor kitchen, and pond. Beatriz and her husband are wonderful, truly dedicated to their guests. Excellent value for money.

We'll be back! We felt at home with this welcoming family and their whole pack of loving dogs. The lake is beautiful and the pool is perfect. Breakfast was excellent, and I hope I can leave with Beatriz's cake recipe. We even picked up a few words of the language. They gave us good restaurant recommendations and offered us Muscatel. It felt like a holiday at home, except we didn't have to do anything. Beatriz used to teach French and speaks it really well, too. I'll miss this place. Thanks for everything. I hadn't had a holiday in a long time, and thanks to you it got off to a perfect start.

The house was lovely and kept in great shape, and the breakfast was really good. We stayed with a group of friends this past weekend. Beatriz and Mario looked after us so well, and the place was wonderfully quiet, with no noise at all. A ten for the service and facilities. Thanks so much.
