Vivenda A Nossa Coroa

We were made to feel welcome straight away. The owners invited us into their home and brought coffee out to the patio, where we chatted for an hour. A few minutes in, it already felt like we'd made friends in Portugal. The cottages and grounds are beautiful, everything was clean, well cared for, and fully equipped, and it was great value. A fabulous stay, thank you!

We booked a couple of nights through airbnb and ended up staying almost three months. I would have stayed longer, but we had other commitments. Gene and Didier were so kind and helpful, and the place itself was peaceful and clean, with a great pool. I highly recommend it!

In May, we stayed in the Azulejos bungalow and had a great holiday. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely, and the area around the property felt so peaceful. There are plenty of nearby restaurants at very reasonable prices. My partner uses a walker and managed well inside the bungalow and garden, though getting around the surrounding area was harder. Driving made it easy to discover a wonderful view around almost every bend. The owners gave us such a warm welcome. It's a great choice if you're after a break away from the seaside, though there are a few small river beaches nearby.

The Dutch owners made us feel so welcome, and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings so much that we booked again for next year before we left. Vivenda A Nossa Coroa is a beautiful place in Central Portugal, with atmospheric accommodation that felt like home right away. We'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet stay, warm hospitality, and a lovely place in Portugal.
