Herdadinha

The place is quiet and easy to get to, with a new building and really good beds. Breakfast was very good, too. We were travelling by motorcycle, and Generosa and Rui made us comfortable with a level of warmth and kindness that’s hard to match. They welcomed us like family. Definitely somewhere I’d return to.

Breakfast was very good, with croissants and scrambled eggs, and the owners were kind and offered useful tips on what to visit and where to find good restaurants for dinner. When I hurt my foot, one of them even disinfected the wound and looked after me. It’s a calm, relaxing place with a lovely refreshing pool. My room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, with bottled water provided. The air conditioning was quiet and very welcome in the heat. A great place to unwind while visiting the Alentejo region.

The hostess was so kind and attentive, always ready to help and make sure things were just right. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with fresh local products. I also loved relaxing by the pool, surrounded by that breathtaking Alentejo scenery and sunshine. I had a fantastic two-night stay. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated, just right for a memorable rest. Highly recommend, and I hope to come back soon!

The hosts made us feel right at home, and Helena especially stood out for her warmth, availability, and real passion for her work. That kind of care is hard to find these days. A Herdadinha is a family quinta that really knows how to welcome people. The new property has typical Alentejo decor, which gave us an experience different from the usual. It’s an ideal spot for a few days of total peace and rest. We’ll certainly return one day.
