The location made it easy to walk to nearby sights, and the staff were lovely when we arrived. They explained things thoroughly, including what was around the hotel. The room had a few drawbacks: it stayed damp, the bathroom door was oddly translucent and never shut fully, and the air conditioning didn’t heat the room well. Street noise came through, and even the decent curtains didn’t make it completely dark at night.

We had a really good three-night stay. The hotel is within walking distance of central Lisbon, and our room was spotless. Breakfast was great too.

Memória is a lovely boutique hotel, with beautiful tiles throughout and a fantastic dining room. We got there a little before check-in, and Giovanni at the front desk was very accommodating. The room was good, and the hotel sits up a hill in one of Lisbon’s main areas. I’d come back, though I’d take a cab up.

A good deal for the money, especially with the castle, Rossio square, and Commerce Square all nearby. Our room had a nice view, and breakfast was good. Coffee and water were available throughout the day. It worked perfectly for a short visit.

We stayed in Lisbon for a few days with friends, and the staff made us feel welcome right from arrival. They were friendly, courteous, and professional, and went out of their way for us. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My girlfriend and I both had birthdays during the trip, and the staff surprised us with wine and treats. Such a thoughtful personal touch. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again on another Lisbon visit. Thanks to everyone on staff!
