The owner was friendly and welcoming. It’s a cozy, nice house with clean rooms, a big bathroom, and a cool terrace and kitchen on the ground floor.

The room offer for five people was two double beds and a sofa bed, which would mean two bedrooms, not the setup shown in the original photos. After we explained the difficulties this would cause us, they responded badly, made us leave, and charged us the same rate as Booking.com. We were very disappointed. We were five, all over 55, and two of us have reduced mobility. We found out only after booking that the listing meant two apartments combined, shared with the homeowners and divided only by a door. The barbecue area and patio were also shared with them and the other guests. That layout made things difficult for someone with limited mobility, and the photos didn’t match what was offered for our group.

The kitchen is shared with other guests, but it’s modern and everything is very clean. There were five of us, and we had a whole floor of the villa to ourselves. The bedroom was comfortable, the bathroom had a jacuzzi, and the very nice owners live in the other part of the house.

It’s a quiet, pleasant spot beside the Aveiro pedestrian walkways, just seven minutes by car from Aveiro. There’s a train line across the way, though, and the trains pass often and are quite noisy, from 7 am to 11 pm.
