Hotel das Salinas

We really enjoyed our one night here. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly when we arrived. While we waited for it to be ready, they offered to keep our luggage, and when we came back from a walk, they’d already brought it up to the room. Such a thoughtful touch. They also suggested a restaurant for lunch and a river cruise. This little gem is just 50m from the town centre. It’s currently joined with the hotel next door, so the entrance is on the other side.

We were eight people staying here, and the rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, and Alfeu and the rest of the staff were very helpful. We’d happily recommend this place.

The room was spotless, with comfortable beds and lovely linen. Breakfast had a great spread of fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, and different milks, including soy, which we were glad to find. The toiletries were excellent too, and the location couldn’t have been better. Elfeu at reception was patient, polite, professional, and knew the answers to all our questions. We never felt hurried. We’d book this hotel again without hesitation if we’re in the area.

Right near the town centre, so it’s easy to explore on foot. The rooms felt welcoming, and the beds were really comfortable. Staff were warm and accommodating, and the service was faultless. A lovely little boutique hotel.
