The central location was the one good thing about this stay. We’re not fussy about accommodation, but this was one of the biggest disappointments of our trip. The room wasn’t very clean, and the TV and AC didn’t work. The toilet seat was broken and there was no key to lock the bathroom. Outside the entrance to our room was the ice cream shop customers’ bathroom, so toilet paper ended up lying by our door. The room smelled of butter and baking from downstairs, which might be nice for an hour but not all night. At 2 am, the cleaning crew came in and began cleaning toilets and moving tables and chairs. After that, sleep was impossible. The building was under construction outside, blocking the balcony view, and homeless people were sleeping outside the apartments’ main entrance. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
