Isabel, the hostess, brings out a simple breakfast each morning. We spent four nights at Casa de Bica and really enjoyed our time there. It’s in Gondesende, a picturesque village that seems untouched by time. The house is authentically furnished, with a fireplace and a spacious kitchen. We’d definitely return to Casa de Bica if we’re in the area again.

Dona Isabel is wonderful, and the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, like staying with family. I’d come back for a more relaxed visit and spend more time properly exploring the park.

D. Isabel was so kind, and breakfast was good. The house was clean too. A lovely experience, and I recommend it.

The setting is perfect as a base for exploring Montesinho and Sanabria. Isabel’s breakfasts alone make the stay worthwhile.

A very quiet, cosy place. Isabel’s wonderful attention makes you feel at home. We’ll be back.
