The villa has a nice look and potential, but several problems got in the way of our stay. Wi-Fi was there in name only, with such a weak signal that we couldn't stay connected or easily plan things and keep in touch. The shower was another big letdown. It wasn't clean, the pressure was poor, the mode switch didn't work right, and water leaked from all over. Fix those issues and the place could be great, but in its current state I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who needs dependable internet or a decent shower.

We loved waking up to the ocean from the terrace. The villa is beautiful, all new, and even better in person than in the photos, with a comfortable kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. The location worked really well too, around 15 minutes from the airport or Funchal, and 30-40 minutes from the main spots. I organized a photography tour to Madeira in November 2022, so good accommodation was really important. We were delighted and liked it enough to plan a second photo tour, see you in April 2023. A few photos from Madeira, taken by me in November.

The place itself is fine, but there's basically nothing there, not even soap. If you arrive late and hungry, it's water and blanket-chewing until morning.

Really good house, though with the heat lately, you sweat quite a bit.
