The room was nice, and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was really good, though I thought it started a bit late, from 8:30 to 10:30. A very smiley woman I met was lovely, though we didn't get to exchange names, and Rita was super nice over text too. The pool wasn't well maintained, and the window insulation was really poor. I also think smoking on the balcony should be prohibited. In summer, if you're in the middle room and want to sleep with the window open, having smokers on both sides could make it a nightmare because of the smoke.

The breakfast was nicely laid out in the loft-style living hall, and we really enjoyed our stay. The place feels like a design icon from the 80s, with a timeless elegance. Only two rooms share a bathroom, so that wasn't a problem for us.

The two sisters hosting the place are really lovely. It was a good stay, though be aware that some rooms share a bathroom. With morning sun, the rooms and breakfast room get very hot, and there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

The staff gave us such personal attention, especially the manager Patrícia, who pointed us to great restaurants and places to visit. The rooms and shared areas were spotless. Lodge Natur Zen is beautifully situated, with stunning views, about 15 minutes by car from the airport, and well placed for exploring the island. The house is cozy and comfortable. For me, the place and service were at the level of a five-star luxury hotel, and I know what I'm talking about.
