Solar Valadim - serviced apartments

We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the apartment. It's clean, modern, and spacious, right behind the town square, so central but still quiet. Everything was arranged online and by email, with codes for the front door and apartment. Simple and hassle-free. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there were extra toilet rolls too. A few things could be improved. The shower cubicle is a little small, though making it bigger by extending it across the wall wouldn't be an easy change. The kitchen chairs are really hard to sit on for long, so some padding would help. An extra table in the bedroom would be useful, and the bathroom could use a shelf under the mirror for toiletries. The bedside table is padded and quite small. A hot cup of tea wobbles on it, and since it's attached to the headboard, it can tip when you sit on the bed. We'd stay here again and recommend it to others.

We spent a month at Solar Valadim Castelo Branco and would highly recommend it. The hosts are brilliant, and the place is clean and comfortable. It's an excellent location, just a short walk from the centre, with restaurants, cafes, and all kinds of shops nearby.

A beautiful room in the old city, with several restaurants and bars nearby.
