The regional Portuguese dishes were very good, and the Rojões was especially delicious. The staff were friendly too.

The steaks were especially good, and the rest of the food was excellent too. It's a great local-style restaurant, with friendly, helpful staff. A lovely spot for a meal.

Dinner was a huge disappointment. The octopus was unbelievably salty, the chips were undercooked, and the passion fruit tart was soggy. Service was terrible too, we didn't even get a welcome when we came in. I wouldn't come back or recommend it.

I was just passing through Castelo de Paiva when I came across this pleasant place. The service was very friendly, and the food was well prepared. Considering the quality and quantity, the price couldn't be better.

A simple, quaint place with a real local feel, and really good traditional Portuguese food.
