The owner was polite and very pleasant, and I had a lovely stay in a peaceful spot with a great view.

A perfect spot for international students.

For €38, I got one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in, and apparently there’s no dorm option either. Check-in was a mess: nobody was there at reception, so it was all handled remotely by phone. I ended up standing on the street for far too long waiting for a text. The room itself was poor, with cheap furniture, a very creaky bed, and a mattress so uncomfortable I could feel every spring. I woke up feeling like I’d been in a fight. There was also a smell like cheap teenage deodorant. In the bathroom, the shower drain was blocked, so I had to stand in a puddle that kept getting deeper. The walls seemed paper thin, and I could hear people upstairs and next door whenever they moved. I don’t recommend this hostel. I slept more comfortably in the woods, and that was free.

A warm welcome and great value for money. The beds are good, warm, and comfortable, and there are two power sockets, a desk, and good Wi-Fi. This hostel is best for young people with strong legs who want to enjoy the rest it offers. Highly recommended, 10/10.
