The room was huge and beautiful, with windows facing two directions, a large round table for meals, a microwave, small fridge, and coffee machine. Breakfast was the best of the best, with lots of choices. WiFi worked great, and the shower was hot and powerful. The enormous shared kitchen had napkins, silverware, cookware, and even a filtered water dispenser. Catarina was the staff member I saw. She was incredible, answered all my questions, and her English is very good. She and the rest of the staff provided sumptuous breakfasts, delivered the night before when I requested it. On Saturday night, my breakfast for the next morning still hadn’t arrived by 9:25 pm, so I messaged after 10. Joana replied straight away and promised it before 8 am. She delivered as promised. The staff really tried hard to please guests. The hotel is on the opposite side from the bus station, so it felt a bit far to me. The streets are cobbled, and the route from the station passes a cemetery, goes uphill toward the center, then downhill. Your luggage could easily get damaged. It’s better to take a taxi, and there are usually a few at the station. For the return trip, you’ll need to call one or ask the hotel staff for help. The distance is only 1.1 miles, though, so it’s not a big issue. There was some party going on after 11 pm on the first night, but I was too tired to be bothered. The other four nights were very peaceful. Highly recommended.

The rooms are huge and the interior design is stunning. They’ve thought of so many useful details, from the welcome bag with crackers, coffee, and a couple of small things to the room layout. Even with a shared kitchen, each room has a mini fridge and microwave. It’s in a quieter area near the college, which I really appreciated for a good night’s sleep, while still being inside the city walls. One of the best guesthouses I’ve stayed at.

The room was airy, clean, and pleasant, with useful extras like an electric kettle and mini fridge. There’s a shared outdoor eating area and a kitchen with handy appliances, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is cute and close to places to visit in Evora. We’ve stayed at a few places in Portugal, and this has been one of our favorites.

There are several public areas, including a kitchen and terrace. At check-in, they ask you to fill in a breakfast form, then deliver it in a nice basket. The old building has modern, elegant furnishings, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking nearby costs 70 cents an hour during the day and is free after 19:30. There’s another free parking area less than 200 metres away.
