Casa Apollo Guesthouse

The garden and pool feel like a peaceful little escape, and Jean-Paul and the team were welcoming and lovely. Breakfast was fabulous, and having bar service was a nice extra. There’s noticeable construction work nearby, as others have mentioned, but it didn’t spoil our stay. The rest of the street should look lovely in a few years. Casa Apollo is clean, comfortable, and beautifully put together. It’s only a short walk to everything, with bars, restaurants, and mini markets just steps away. Nights were quiet with the windows shut.

The breakfast buffet was fresh and good quality, with eggs made to order. We also appreciated the extra touches, including waffle robes and nice toiletries, and everything was spotlessly clean. The house is centrally located, but the triple glazing kept the nearby airport planes from being heard. We felt welcome as a queer couple. Merci beaucoup! We stayed in early September in a bright, stylishly decorated suite in the main house. Having a living room and extra space was lovely, and the garden and pool are gorgeous. It’s a French-speaking house, and Jean Paul was attentive.

The coffee was okay, though I would have liked it hotter. Otherwise, breakfast was great, with tasty scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and a lovely range of breads and cakes. We had a great four-night stay at this quiet, restful oasis in the town centre. Nice pool and relaxation area. Well done to the staff and owners.

Jean Paul and his team were so welcoming and helpful, and the room was fantastic. We visited Casa Apollo Guesthouse Garden Pool in Faro at the start of September and were really impressed by the space and the impeccable service. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade items and good-quality bread, cheeses, jams, fruit salad, eggs, and fresh orange juice. Highly recommended.
