The owner never replied through Airbnb, where we booked, so I had to track down his private WhatsApp number to get an answer. The rooms weren't clean, the shower was broken, and there was no soap, which is essential when traveling during a pandemic. The sheets had strange dark stains, and I don't know what they were. I can't recommend this place.

The owner was helpful and friendly, and parking is free if you book it in advance. The place is cheap when you catch a special offer, right in the middle of the tourist town, yet still fairly quiet. The hotel itself can be noisy, though most guests in towns like this will probably be quiet. I didn't find the promised patio, unless they meant the little parking area behind the hotel. The room without a balcony was very small, and the shower water was only lukewarm in the morning. The bed looks lovely, almost antique, but the mattress really needs replacing. The narrow double bed has its charm for us, though people used to be shorter in earlier times, so it won't suit everyone. If you're looking for a cheap stay, you get what you pay for. We liked the bed's look, but not the mattress.
