Our cycling group stayed at this fabulous hotel and felt very welcome. It’s tucked into a quiet village with stunning views. The rooms are nicely appointed and even had a bath.

We had a spacious, bright, very clean room, with direct access through our patio that was great for our two year old son, who loved exploring the little hotel woodland. The hotel’s design, structure, decor and finish are all really interesting and exceptionally well done. Pedro and the staff made my family feel welcome from the start, with Pedro greeting us by a warm log fire. The setting is beautiful, among quiet nature, church bells and a picturesque village, with stone megaliths, viewpoints and hikes nearby. Ask Pedro about wine, he knows the regional wines and food with real passion. The restaurant was an interesting way to discover local flavours and Portugal’s deep culinary traditions. Pedro even played football with our son, and the chef made him simple, healthy, fresh meals specially. We’ll certainly return. We’re very happy we found this place. Thanks, Pedro and team.
