The room was the main drawback for me. It was on the top floor, with awkward areas under very low ceilings, and the electrical outlets weren’t conveniently placed. I stayed on Christmas Eve; the staff were excellent and welcoming, and the buffet dinner offered a reasonable range of traditional seasonal dishes alongside more generic choices. Breakfast was very good for a 3-star hotel, and the facilities sit in a beautiful area. The location is fantastic, and the price was very good for a 3-star hotel, even for non-members. I’m giving it 4 stars, very close to 5.

Great spot near the beach, and the price was really good. The bathrooms are worn and dated and need a major overhaul. There’s no A/C at all, and breakfast was cold, with no hot plates used.

The views are amazing and the place has huge potential. We only came for breakfast, which was simple and good value for money, though the coffee was really weak and put us off. The room itself was huge, but not very pleasant, and the windows were a bit dirty.

From our balcony we had an amazing view of the lagoon and beach, and watched the sun set over the sea. The hotel felt much more expensive than what we paid: €78 for one lagoon view room for two people, with breakfast included. Breakfast was good too, with lovely little custard tarts.

We could hear every footstep and voice from the rooms around us, and a baby in the next room screamed all night, so it was impossible to sleep. Our room was tiny, very dark and had no view, just a tree outside the window. There wasn’t room to open two suitcases, the key made the door hard to open, and we didn’t have a double bed. When we asked reception for another room, they didn’t speak any English and couldn’t help us. Very disappointing!
