The apartment has a lovely sea view, and the garden does too. It was quiet while still being near the center and Funchal's old town. The kitchen had everything we needed, and communication with the owner was very good. Check-in and check-out both went smoothly. Madeira is a beautiful island, and we had a wonderful holiday.

The location worked well for us, close to the seafront and with restaurants about half a mile away. There are lots of shops in the main part of town and plenty to see and do. Inside, the apartment was lovely and laid out well, with a comfortable feel, an amazing kitchen with a dishwasher, and good views over the port. WiFi, TV, and washing and ironing facilities are on the lower floor. I'd recommend it.

From booking to meeting us at Funchal airport and departure, the whole experience was positive. The booking and pricing were especially easy to understand, with a transparent pricing model. The car we had for our vacation was high quality and did what we needed. This is one of the best car rental companies I've used in many years. I'll definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

I can't believe how little respect they showed a customer. I'd already changed my whole itinerary and accepted the cost of cancelling one night at another hotel after they suddenly told me, two months after I booked, that there was a three-night minimum and I'd have to add a night or lose my two-night reservation. Then the very next day, they said they had to cancel my entire stay anyway. What kind of people do this? It's a clear test of a host's professionalism, or lack of it, and they were simply unreliable.
