Museum House

The museum space on the first floor is very cute, and you can tell they tried to run the place well. It was very clean despite the old rooms, with blackout curtains and matching lights, and the location is good. But sadly, I wouldn't recommend it. The rooms are much smaller and older than the photos, there's no AC and the ventilation is very poor. It was extremely hot at night even in October. There was mold in the shower, plus cockroaches and bugs. We asked to switch rooms for better ventilation and again after finding bugs, but got no response until after checkout. They said there has been no AC since 2022. There are lots of stairs, so it's not handicap friendly.

For a short visit when you only need somewhere to sleep, the low price and very central location are definite pluses. The old house has charm, and there are some nice museum pieces. But the rooms are small and feel sticky. Opening the windows doesn't help when it's hot and humid outside, and the small ventilation system only does a little. The shower cabin is nice, and there's a flat TV, small closet, and small refrigerator. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the bed creaked with every small movement. The staircases are narrow and very steep, with no elevator. For more comfort, I can't recommend this place.

The place is generally fine for a short stay, with a very good location and a quiet room. It was generally clean, but there was no A/C. A major downside is that the hotel has no lift, not even for bags.

The room fit my travel needs perfectly, and the location is great. The staff were friendly, and they brought fresh towels every few days. It is an old building with thin walls, so I could hear people in the hallway and upstairs. I'd definitely stay again.
