I wouldn't stay here again. There was no water in the morning, and the reception was shut when I went to ask about the breakfast I'd paid for. The night before, the owners had disappeared while a party with loud music and fireworks kept me awake. Nobody apologized. Stay away.

We couldn't wash in the morning because there was no running water, and reception was locked. We found six other guests in the same situation, including people who had paid for breakfast and couldn't get anyone to serve it. The night before, the owners held a party on July 19 without warning guests. People shouted and set off fireworks by the bedrooms, with loud music going until around 1-1:30 a.m. I went to reception to ask them to turn it down, but nobody was there. I couldn't sleep or wash here. This was an incredibly unprofessional stay, and the 100€ cost me money and a lot of stress. This isn't rural tourism.

The view was lovely, and there was plenty of parking. I ate at the restaurant: the food was good, the green wine was very good, and the service was among the best. The bathrooms were very clean too.

The cheese platter and bottle of wine they left for us were lovely, and the place itself is beautiful, stylish, and well located. But over our two nights, we felt like an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. We don't speak Portuguese, and I wonder if that affected the reception we got. After six weeks traveling around Europe, this was the coldest welcome we'd had, and it really colored the stay. There were also a few room details: no wardrobe hangers, no hand soap by the sink, and robes without belts.
