House in Lagoa

Good breakfast, but the room was freezing. The warm air just went up and stayed there.

The room had a lovely bed, fluffy pillows, and a good shower, and the reception lady was really nice and helpful. We had a big balcony, which was great. The location was great too, and the pool looked nice at night, though we didn't get time to use it. The room was very hot, and the AC couldn't cool the whole place, so we ended up sitting right in front of it, haha. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the room either, even after trying three phones and a laptop. Still, I had a good time at the hotel. We paid €150 per night. Thanks.

The hotel was really clean, the rooms were very nice, and the staff were lovely. They even waived our €38 restaurant bill and upgraded us to the Presidential Suite, which turned things around after a disappointing first night. We wanted to eat in the restaurant, but were told it was buffet only. We assumed that was because of the three youth football teams staying there. The dining area was busy and evenings were noisy while the teams were there. The breakfast buffet was superb, and the hotel is close to Carvoeiro, Portimão and Silves. We had a really pleasant stay and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it.

The rooms are spacious and nice, and it's handy having covered private parking. The hotel is a bit far from the sea, but the price was fair. A taxi to Albufeira costs around €35 one way. We didn't use the pool, though it was nice to have it there.
