The pool was gorgeous, refreshing, and fun, with views that were just wow. We loved the comfortable beds and good shower, too. Everything felt designed to help you relax: the place was beautiful, exceptionally clean, well equipped, and the welcome gifts and card were such a lovely surprise. Pool towels were a bonus, and it was easy to turn on the music speaker, which added to the already great atmosphere. Communication was very good, and they helped us when our soon was poorly. We really appreciated that. We can’t wait to come back!

The pool was a real highlight, with lovely views over the Douro hillside and wonderfully warm water. This quiet, tucked-away retreat is in Lagares, an hour from Porto, and the staff were always available and helpful by message. Since there are three houses, it felt very peaceful, with plenty of time to rest. There’s an equipped kitchen and shared outdoor space for cooking, eating, and drinking. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the surrounding area is nice for walks and visiting Douro wine estates, including Quinta da Pacheca and Six Senses Douro Valley. We had a great family stay and will definitely return.
