The owner made the stay for us. She was so warm, welcoming, and took wonderful care of us. Her breakfast and cooking were delicious. The place has been renovated really nicely, and our room was clean and well appointed. A great little spot, highly recommend.

You walk in and it’s a lovely surprise: a beautifully finished hotel with rooftop access, where breakfast is served. The owner was away, but her grandson helped us out. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Lamego.

We were treated so well by Zilda, who was a friendly and excellent host. The breakfast was very good, and the place had lovely decor with lots of attention to detail. Our room was nice and quiet, and the rooftop view over the city was impressive. We loved our stay and only wish we’d had more time. Hope to come back!

The family room had plenty of space for sleeping, storage, and the bathroom, with a sweet historical feel. Zilda at Muralha Charm House was super friendly and attentive, and made us an amazing breakfast. She also had great food and travel recommendations. We had a super amazing time and loved it!
