Holiday Inn Lisboa

I've stayed here twice and have upgrades to show for it: as an IHG Diamond member, I received a very nice room upgrade both times. They appreciate loyalty here. Housekeeping also deserves a shout-out. They do such a good job that they even exceed my high expectations in this area, which doesn't happen often. The hotel itself is basic and a bit dated, but the rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the prices are more than fair. If you like staying in Saldanha, it's great value. It's not a luxury hotel, but I'd gladly come back soon.

Gisleine was fantastic with our two children, who are two and five, and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful too. Everyone made us feel welcome and treated us kindly. We stayed three nights with the kids, and our room was large and very clean. We had a wonderful family stay, and I'd highly recommend the hotel for a family holiday. Thank you very much 🙏🏻

The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good, and the service was very good throughout. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we thought the hotel was great value for money for a family holiday. Alastair and Khadafi at Lounge 28 deserve a special shout-out for their brilliant service and for making our stay even better.

Being so close to the airport is a real advantage, which makes the lack of warmth from reception especially disappointing. Check-in felt like a transaction, and I had to insist to get my needs across. The staff seemed cold and disengaged, with no natural conversation, smiles, or initiative. The building also feels very dated and badly in need of refurbishment. Having stayed in hotels around the world, I think the front desk team needs serious work on communication, guest relations, and hospitality standards. The location has plenty of potential, but the service doesn't live up to it.
