Altis Prime Hotel de Apartamentos

We stayed for three weeks in lovely Lisbon, and our one-bedroom apartment was just right for us. Altis Prime made a great base for getting to know the city. It was in a perfect spot for us, away from the tourist area but still an easy walk to where we wanted to go. Jorge Mendes and the rest of the staff were patient and kind, and helped make the stay fantastic.

Simone and Lucas made the stay especially memorable. They have great personalities, and their genuine enjoyment of the work came through in a natural, sincere kind of service. Credit to management for building such a strong team. My room’s open layout made it feel spacious and fluid, with hidden sliding doors to separate areas when wanted. The interior design was excellent. The hotel is in a peaceful area, still walkable to downtown, and near metro stations for getting around. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Lisbon.

It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk into the centre, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly. The room was a good size, with lots of hanging space, and had what I needed to make breakfast or the odd meal. There’s a microwave and two hobs, though very little room to prepare food. The rooftop jacuzzi wasn’t working, unfortunately, and using the spa in the hotel next door costs 15 euros per person per day.

We had to book at the last minute for medical reasons, and Raquel on the reservations team was amazing. She found us a very good price and a nice room. The man who welcomed us was friendly and professional, though I’m sorry I’ve forgotten his name. On checkout day, our hospital procedure ran a little late, and Raquel was understanding and offered options to extend the stay or pay for a couple of extra hours. In the end, we didn’t need to. Great team, and it’s why we keep coming back.
