Ando Living Augusta House

The restored historic building has a lovely old character, paired with modern comfort and thoughtfully chosen details. There’s a music player, an umbrella, and a coffee machine with plenty of capsules, among other homey touches. Everything is high quality and easy to use. The automatic check-in was smooth and clearly well designed. If you’re already familiar with apartment stays and self check-in without welcome staff, this one feels like a step up. And the location is right in the city center, with everything walkable.

The kitchen’s especially well equipped, with a full-size oven and fridge-freezer, plus a washer-dryer. There’s also a modern bathroom and plenty of bedroom storage. And the Nespresso machine came in handy when I couldn’t be bothered walking to a coffee shop. A great apartment in central Lisbon.

I’ve already booked another stay. The apartments are beautiful and spotless, with a bed that was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The location makes it easy to walk to Lisbon’s sights, and the soundproofing was excellent, which matters a lot to me.

We got an excellent nightly price for December. The place is charming and very clean, with windows all around, right in the heart of Lisbon. Uber can drop you off or collect you within a one-minute walk. Parking is a five-to-eight-minute walk away, but it gets expensive for longer stays and only takes cash or Portuguese-issued cards.
