Anjos 44 Lisbon Apartments

Alan was great about replying and checking us in. The place is small but cozy, well equipped, and has a nice street view. The beds were comfortable and the A/C heater units worked well, though we didn’t cook. My only small complaint was the shower, whose flow could get very hot and unpredictable, so be careful with kids. Groceries, the metro, and banks are all close by.

The toilet had a very strong sewage smell. The apartment was noisy too: because it’s so close to the metro, you can feel and hear the trains going by. The neighbors were loud as well, talking until midnight and starting again around 7:00 a.m.

For a short stay in Lisbon, I’d definitely recommend this place. It’s easy to reach the airport in 15mins, and it’s just 2 mins on foot to the metro. Tram line 28 is a 6mins walk away, there’s a bus stop right out front, and cafes and supermarkets are next to the building. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and check-in and check-out were smooth. I’d choose it again on my next visit.

They cancelled my booking just 2 days before the stay, without giving a reason, even though I’d paid 800€ in advance. They won’t answer my calls, and now they’ve left me with a lot to sort out. I can’t recommend them.
