The staff made us feel welcome the whole time, and we definitely made friends here. One of my favorite hostels after years of traveling. Such a nice place, and I can't think of a better balcony for drinking wine. Peace out.

We rented the whole place for our group and liked our stay. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, and each person had a locker large enough for a big backpack. The shared bathroom is the main drawback, though it was clean and pleasant. Noise from the nearby bar or restaurant came through sometimes, but usually faded after 11 pm.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and breakfast comes with the stay. It's close to all the bars in Bairro Alto, yet the hostel stays quiet. It's small too, so even when full there aren't many guests. There's a really nice view as well.

The room and shower were better than great, and the internet was fast. The balcony has a nice view, and the friendly French staff created a good vibe. But the morning receptionist was a real pain. She didn't seem to enjoy her job.

There are lots of common spaces and terraces on both sides of the hostel, plus a rooftop with amazing views. The internet is exceptionally good, and the staff are the best you'll find anywhere. Simply one of the best hostels I've stayed in.
